From a modest flock to a trusted poultry supplier
Stripes & Spots Agricultural Services Limited (RC 0000000) began as a small family flock with a frustration familiar to every Nigerian household: chicken that looked fine at the market but arrived home inconsistent, poorly cleaned and rarely the weight that was promised.
We set out to fix that in the most straightforward way possible — by controlling the process end to end. Today we manage our own brooding and grow-out cycles, run our own processing line, and hold everything in cold storage until the moment it leaves for a customer. Nothing is bought in from unknown sources and re-labelled.
Our customers range from families ordering 2kg for the weekend to caterers, restaurants and retailers taking standing weekly volumes. The scale changes; the standard does not.
Quality and freshness, defined precisely
"Fresh" is an easy word to print on a label. These are the specific standards we hold ourselves to.
Processed to order
Birds are processed in daily batches sized to confirmed orders, so stock rarely sits. Product reaching you is typically less than 24 hours from processing.
Cleaned properly
Every bird is de-feathered, eviscerated and rinsed with potable water. Offals are cleaned, de-skinned where appropriate and sorted by hand before packing.
Chilled, not neglected
Products are blast-chilled and held at 0–4°C. We never thaw and re-freeze, and we never sell product that has broken the cold chain.
Weighed honestly
Calibrated digital scales, weight marked on every pack, and invoices adjusted to actual supplied weight — up or down.
Trained hands
Processing staff work in dedicated protective clothing with documented hygiene routines, health checks and colour-coded equipment for raw handling.
Answerable
Every order carries a reference number. If something is not right, call us with it and we will replace, refund or top up — no argument.
How we work, week to week
Our production calendar is planned around demand. Grow-out cycles are staggered so that fresh birds are available every week rather than in occasional gluts, and feed is managed to a documented programme with veterinary supervision.
Processing runs in the early morning. Orders placed and confirmed before noon are packed and dispatched the same day; anything later joins the next morning's run. Trade customers on standing orders receive a fixed weekly slot.
